Audi FAQs

When your Audi is in need of repair, you want to ensure that your car is in the safe hands of an Audi-approved repair centre.

Road and Race Restorations is proud to be an Audi approved repairer. This means we’re fully trained to Audi’s exact standards and only use genuine Audi-approved car parts in all repairs and restorations. What’s more, our bodyshop is independently audited every year, so you can have complete confidence in our technical excellence and mechanical skills.

You’ll find our repair centres based in Cheshire, and you can request a repair enquiry online or contact us directly for repair support.

If your Audi is new, still under warranty, and you want to protect its resale value, it makes sense to choose an Audi Approved Repair Centre such as Road and Race.

Audi approvals are designed to ensure repairs are completed using the correct methods, equipment and materials to manufacturer standards.

For older vehicles, a reputable independent body shop may also be suitable, depending on the level of damage and the repair requirements.

If you’d like to view Audi’s official list of approved / recommended body repair centres, you can check the Audi website.

Alternatively, you can submit a repair enquiry online or contact us directly and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

If you’ve had an accident and you’re making an insurance claim for your Audi, your insurer may suggest a preferred repairer. However, you don’t have to use the garage or body shop they recommend – you have the legal right to choose who repairs your vehicle.

To help ensure your Audi is repaired to manufacturer standards, you can check Audi’s list of Audi-approved / recommended body repair centres. Road and Race is proud to be an Audi Approved Repairer.

Typically, only accident-related repairs or faults covered under an extended warranty will be eligible for cover. General wear and tear and pre-existing mechanical faults are not usually included.

If you’ve been involved in an accident and would like to make a repair enquiry, contact us directly, and we’ll be happy to help you through the next steps.

Audi restorations are increasingly popular in the UK – particularly for 1980s to 2000s classic and performance models, including Quattro variants, S and RS cars, and limited editions.

If you’re considering an Audi restoration project, we’d be happy to discuss your vehicle and what you’d like to achieve. Contact Road and Race for more information and to arrange an initial conversation.
