About Us

Our Mission

Our aim is simple: to be recognised as the leading centre of expertise for prestige and performance vehicle repair – combining manufacturer-approved repair methods, genuine parts, and outstanding customer service.

By connecting every department across our business – from customer service to estimation and the workshop – we deliver a seamless repair journey and a consistently high standard of care, every time.

The Story So Far

We founded Road and Race in 1988, driven by a passion for racing and competition cars. From a small workshop supporting local enthusiasts and racers, we’ve grown into a family-run accident repair centre trusted for meticulous workmanship and a customer-first experience from estimate to handover.

Because our training, tooling and repair standards are provided and audited by the manufacturer that built your car, you can be confident your pride and joy is repaired the right way – using manufacturer-approved processes that protect safety, performance and long-term value – while helping to maintain your manufacturer warranty.

Motorsport is still at the heart of what we do. Over the years, we’ve become a trusted partner to professional racing teams – providing trackside support in the Porsche Carrera Cup and carrying out much of the race preparation for Porsche GB’s classic race team. We also run our own race cars, competing successfully across national and European championships.

That combination of manufacturer-approved repair expertise and real-world motorsport experience informs everything we deliver – whether it’s accident repair, restoration, or performance-focused preparation. Whatever car you entrust to us, we will treat it with the care, precision and attention to detail it deserves.
