Meet the Team

Road and Race is defined by our people. Exceptional repair quality and outstanding customer service are embedded in everything our skilled team does – from precision body repairs by our panel technicians – to flawless paintwork and finishing by our painters and polishers.

Our workshop staff are trained to the highest standards, work to manufacturer-approved processes, and take genuine pride in delivering the best possible result on every vehicle.

John Bradshaw

John Bradshaw

Founder

John founded Road and Race Restorations in 1988 off the back of his passion for motorsport. John continues to work at Road and Race, focusing more of his time on special projects, restoration and business development.

Tom Bradshaw

Managing Director

Tom joined his father, John, in the family business in 2008 while building his own motorsport career. He quickly became a key part of the Road and Race team – progressing from warranty administration to vehicle damage assessor – before moving into senior leadership and becoming Managing Director in 2024.

Today, Tom is focused on growing Road and Race while protecting the values that built our reputation: meticulous workmanship, uncompromising standards, and consistently exceptional repair quality.

Outside of work, Marcey is a real animal lover. She’s previously fostered several animals and now shares her home with fish, a budgie and two dogs.

Steve Dickinson

General Manager, Cheshire

Steve returned to Road and Race after spending time in China overseeing the Porsche paint and body programme across South East Asia. That international experience – combined with his long-standing knowledge of the Road and Race family and our manufacturer-standard repair processes – makes him ideally placed to lead our Cheshire body shop.

Energetic and highly customer-focused, Steve ensures every customer is looked after efficiently, with clear communication and repairs completed to the highest standards.
