Meet Our People

John Bradshaw

Managing Director

John formed Road and Race Restorations Ltd in 1988 to provide funds to continue his success in racing. However, starting a family and developing the business into restoring classics curtailed his racing activities.

Tom Bradshaw

Director

Tom joined his father, John, in the family business in 2008 and very quickly became a highly valued part of Road and Race. Although he is beginning to take over the reigns of the business, he is still a key member of our estimating team, often carrying out assessments and discussing repairs with customers. Tom has won countless trophies and podium positions after joining John in his love for racing! Outside of the realm of cars, his other passions include bike riding and spending quality time with his wife and twin girls.

Dave Yeoman

gENERAL Manager

Dave’s lead role in the business is as our General Manager and Workshop Controller. Ensuring all vehicles are repaired efficiently and to the highest possible standard. Dave’s history of being a panel beater has given him the skills needed to run a smooth workshop. He also helps to maintain Health and Safety and organises first class training for all our technicians. Besides his work, he has a passion for DIY home renovations and enjoys taking his grandson on day trips out.

Bev Stewart

Accounts Manager

Bev joined Road and Race over 25 years ago and has since played a key role in the growth of Road and Race into the business it is today. In recent years, Bev has been using her advanced skill set to train new customer service advisors and a new member of the accounts department. In her free time Bev enjoys shopping, going to the gym and walking with her dog, Prince.

Molly Stewart

Accounts & MARKETING

Molly started at Road and Race as a customer service advisor but soon moved to accounts. As she is being trained in accounts she has also been using her marketing skills to improve Road and Race’s digital profile on social media. Molly often spends her time outside of work, taking her son and puppy, Fudge, on long walks and trips to the park.

Gary Walker

Estimator

Gary is also part of our estimating team, assessing vehicles and doing everything within his power to make the journey of having a vehicle repaired as stress free as possible. His excellent communication skills make it easier for customers to understand the repair and helps to put them ease that their pride and joy is in safe hands. Outside of work, Gary’s skills extend to playing golf with his friends. 

Marcey Thompson

Customer service

Marcey’s role within in the business is as a customer service advisor. She plays a key role in ensuring all customers have a smooth journey when having a vehicle repaired. Marcey is goal-orientated and focused and her wide range of skills allow her to adapt to each customers needs and provide them with the best possible service. Besides her work, Marcey has a love for animals and has previously fostered several animals and now has fish, a budgie and two dogs of her own.

 

Our Workshop

From repair work with our panel technicians to body care with our painters and polishers. We have some of the best in the business. Our workshop staff are trained to the highest standard and take great pride in the work they do. The team is not only exceptional at working together but they are also great friends and together help the business to run like clockwork.
